The Powertrack Cross Trac summer cargo tire is installed on the trailer axles of commercial vehicles with a large carrying capacity. The model is designed for operation on high-speed highways and regional roads with good road surface quality. It is characterized by a long service life, low heat generation at high speeds, and improved carrying capacity. It is offered in one size - 285/65R22.5.

Optimized tread pattern

The tire features a tread with a design that is well adapted to the operating conditions of towed vehicles. It is formed by five longitudinal ribs that differ from each other in both design and size. The elements in the central part of the tread are divided into two parts by narrow slits and have a zigzag shape. This provides the tire with efficiency during deceleration, as well as prevents stones from getting stuck in the tread. The shoulder areas are made wider and have a solid, component-free design. This has improved the directional stability and reduced the likelihood of uneven wear.

Reduced heat generation

The sidewall of the tread contains numerous rectangular recesses. These elements reduce the heat generation of the tire, which, on the one hand, increases the service life, and on the other hand, reduces rolling resistance.

Increased carrying capacity

The tire is characterized by an increased carrying capacity. This is provided by several features in its design. An additional layer of breaker made of steel cord is used in it. In addition to increasing the carrying capacity, such a "substrate" significantly reduces the likelihood of uneven wear. Moreover, there is a special sealing cord in the tire bead. It provides a tighter fit to the wheel rim and an even distribution of load at the contact area.
