At the same time, the car is equipped with a system of recuperation, as well as optimal energy consumption (for example, heating the salon using a internal combustion engine).

Electric version

The basis is an electric motor with a power of 118 horsepower, which was later increased to 134 horsepower (for 2020 models). At the initial stage, a 28 kW battery served as a power source, allowing you to travel up to 200 km on a single charge. Over time, it was replaced by a more capacious 38 kW battery. The car is equipped with several recuperation systems that allow rational use of the electric reserve, increasing the range.

In 2021, the manufacturer completely abandoned hybrid installations in favor of electric vehicles, presenting two novelties "Ioniq 5" and "Ioniq 6" at once.
