Second Generation

In 2019, the next generation of the car was released. It again used the platform from the previous model, but in a modified version, which differed by an increased distance between the axles by 20 mm. Due to the more extensive use of high-strength steel, the body became more rigid, which positively affected not so much the handling as the level of vibrations. Another innovation was the replacement of the hydraulic power steering with an electric mechanical analogue.

Under the hood, one of two engines is still located. For the base versions, it's a 1-liter "trio", and for the more expensive ones - a 4-cylinder power unit with a volume of 1.6 liters and a slightly increased power of 130 hp. But now the "1-liter" engine can be combined with both 5- and 6-speed "mechanics", and the 1.6-liter engine - with a more modern 6-range "automatic". In addition, a modification with a turbocharged 3-cylinder TGDI engine with an output of 120 hp appeared in the lineup, which is combined exclusively with a 6-speed automatic transmission.

In addition to the new exterior, the sedan also received a different interior, stylistically exactly the same as that of modern subcompacts from Hyundai with a characteristic "hybrid" instrument panel, where an analog tachometer scale is adjacent to a display showing the current speed. The base versions received inflatable curtains, which were absent in the previous model. The list of additional options has been expanded due to the 8-inch multimedia display, the road marking control system, and the engine start button.

In 2020, the car underwent significant modernization. First and foremost, it affected the exterior, which is now closer to the more spacious sedans of the South Korean brand, acquiring an extended front and becoming more "edged". The interior has been updated again, although to a lesser extent. The instrument panel has become fully "digital", and the multimedia system has received support for protocols for wireless connection of smartphones.
