The Hyundai Galloper was in the production lineup of the South Korean brand from 1991 to 2004. Initially, the engine range consisted of a 2.5-liter diesel engine with a capacity of 73 hp, working in tandem with a 5-speed manual gearbox, or with a 4-range "automatic". Later, versions with a 3-liter V6 petrol engine were added to the line, and the diesel power unit, after multiple upgrades, began to develop 101 hp. In 1994, the SUV underwent a minor update, which primarily affected the exterior, in which square headlights and horizontally mounted rearview mirrors appeared. In addition, the range of versions was expanded with a modification with a 9-seat salon, which was distinguished by an increased wheelbase.

Second Generation

In 1997, the South Korean brand presented the second-generation SUV. Compared to its predecessor, it was distinguished by a significantly changed body design - other headlights, a radiator grille, as well as more massive bumpers, along with plastic protection of the lower part of the doors and wheel arches. In technical terms, the car preserved the connection with the previous model, representing its slightly modified version.
