Citroen Saxo – a compact hatchback that was produced by the PSA group from 1996 to 2003. The car was offered in three- and five-door versions. The vehicle was equipped with a classic suspension with "MacPherson" struts at the front, and a semi-independent construction with a transverse beam and hydraulic shock absorbers at the rear. The car was unified with the Peugeot 106, which allowed the concern to reduce production costs and offer the model at a more favorable price.

The vehicle was equipped with several engine options, including petrol engines with 1.0 l 50 hp, 1.1 l 60 hp, 1.4 l 75 hp, and 1.6 l 118 hp. A 1.5 l diesel engine was capable of producing up to 57 hp. These engines were paired with a 5-speed manual transmission and a 3-position "automatic" transmission.The car was not officially imported into our country.
