It is based on the universal PF1 platform, which was also used for the C3. The suspension is represented by a MacPherson system at the front and a semi-dependent spring structure at the rear. In 2008, the company carried out a modernization of the model, as a result of which it received an updated radiator grille and bumper. In addition, changes were made to the engine design to optimize their consumption and reduce harmful emissions. Among the significant differences, one can highlight the "start-stop" system, which was installed on the 1.4 engine. Thanks to it, fuel consumption was reduced by 10%.

They worked with either a 6-speed manual transmission or a 4-speed automatic transmission.
