The car was created based on the 2014 C3-XR cross-hatchback, developed in a joint venture between the French brand and the Chinese Donfeng. Both cars share not only the front of the body, but also the rear doors. The technical connection with the C-Elysee is also evident in the wheelbase, which is the same 2655 mm. The chassis with a "European" clearance of 147 mm was also borrowed from it, which somewhat contrasts with the plastic trim surrounding the entire body. However, unlike the C-Elysee, under the hood is not an "atmospheric" 4-cylinder engine with a volume of 1.6 liters of the Prince family, but a more modern "trio" with a turbocharger with a volume of 1.2 liters, developing the same 116 horsepower. Depending on the level of equipment, it is combined with 6-speed manual and robotic gearboxes with two clutches.

As for the interior, it was completely taken from the C3-XR hatchback, distinguished by simplicity, both in execution and in the materials used for its trim. The equipment turned out to be quite extensive, especially in the list of additional options - a sunroof, a multimedia system with a 9-inch display and a rearview camera. The asceticism of the second row somewhat contrasts with this, on which there is no armrest in the middle, ventilation deflectors, and a central armrest.
