I chose tires as all-terrain for asphalt and light off-road use, with tread pattern and name suggesting they would be good for the job. But they turned out to be anything but. On asphalt, they're very loud. In corners, they slip a bit. And the rubber compound, probably not the best, is just smooth "slippery" rubber, but good rubber holds up better. On slippery grass and slippery dirt, the small tread blocks don't help much,
