The heavy tire, ice is not its element. It churns through the mud like a tractor and I wouldn't say it's extremely noisy on the highway. In my opinion, the tire is worth the money.

As mentioned, the tire tends to pick up small stones, about the size of a nut. On asphalt, it's a bit noisy, but that's due to the tread pattern, in puddles it behaves very well, diverting the main flow of water to the side. On dirt roads, it grips well on almost any soil, and self-cleaning is also on a good level.

A sturdy tire with a deep tread of 14mm. I bought it for mountain driving, but it turned out that there were few off-road trips, so I've been driving them on asphalt. In my size 265x75x16, the weight on an alloy wheel is 38kg.
On packed snow, only 4x4 vehicles can drive, otherwise they slide sideways. On ice, you need to be extremely cautious. However, in all other aspects, I drive without any issues. Curbs, potholes, and rocks are no problem for them. In 5 years, I've had no bulges, punctures, cuts, or other issues. I would buy them again, but they're no longer available. For those who are unsure, search for Tagor Tagaz Beetle in the search engine.

I bought it for my work vehicle to drive on dirt roads ("last mile") and other places where highway tires are not suitable. On light off-road conditions (4*4 vehicle), I drive without problems (mud). On sand, I had an incident where I almost got stuck (no reduction gear on the van). On the highway, it's noisier than highway tires, and I haven't driven over 115 km/h. Fuel consumption, compared to highway tires, has increased, but not critically. Maybe it's 1-1.5 liters of diesel more (no exact data).

I took this as a second spare for off-road use, as I have another one for asphalt. It handles well in mud and clay, but tends to deflect back onto the center of the road, not as expected. I've not tried it in deep mud yet. I didn't use it in winter, so all that's ahead. As for wear, I've only put 1000 km on it so far. On asphalt it's relatively quiet, compared to similar tires. I'm impressed with the quality of the tire, it doesn't make any noise on asphalt, it's more comfortable than Russian counterparts, it's not afraid of dirt and it grips like a tank's tread on snow and ice. I'd highly recommend these tires for a winter setup, I'd give them a 3 out of 5 for handling on snow and ice.

Bought a friend a UAZ in exchange for worn-out tires, excellent rubber, almost no noise due to softness, also copes well with mud.

Hello! I purchased 235/85/16 on a tire after long consideration. I'm really satisfied with the tire. It's very quiet up to 100/110 km/h, it's heavy, but very durable. That's why Americans love it. After buying a trailer, I put the tires from the UAZ on it, and took 255/85/16 of the same brand. I recommend!

Good tires, at a very good price. All the pros and cons of M/T tires.
Side walls are strong. They hum after 100 km/h but not too much, not annoying. I have not driven on ice and snow, for this there is a special tire. Quality of manufacturing - excellent. Good traction. I drive for hunting, fishing, no problems have occurred.
