The tires seemed balanced and soft to me, with some minor but not critical drawbacks for operation. For example, braking from 130 km/h on hot asphalt (+35 in the shade, southern Russia), in this mode, the car earlier than usual switches to ABS operation, but braking and deceleration remains predictable. I would compare such behavior to braking in similar conditions on European winter tires. When operated at medium temperatures of 20-23 degrees, the tires behave stably. In the rain, they well divert from the contact patch. At near-zero temperature and wet asphalt, they also do not cause complaints. There are problems with movement on wet clay, compared to winter tires. The grip is clearly lower, and a car with a loaded trailer has a hard time entering a small hill, you need to take a run-up. Probably, there will be problems with braking and lateral skidding on fresh snow, despite the M+S on the sidewall of the tires, the tread is more summer-like. But I drive 95% of the time in Moscow in winter, and I'm not going to change to winter tires for now, time will tell, you can always re-shoe. At speed, they are stable, although I didn't drive faster than 220 km/h. They will suit everyone who is used to a calm driving style. For an aggressive driving style, I would recommend having two sets - summer and winter. Before these tires, I operated 365 days a year without re-shoeing Euro winter tires (Michelin, GoodYear, Matador). I would be ready to switch completely to AT tires, but unfortunately, there are no such tires in my size on the market.

I bought a tire in September 2023, size 235 55 17. Immediately changed the wheels and went on a 1500 km journey. Before that, I drove for 5.5 years on General Tire Grabber AT3 (also good tires in their own way). Regarding the Sailun Terramax CVR, I can say the following: the tires are quiet up to 120 km/h (at higher speeds, either the tires start to make a little noise, or the oncoming air flow becomes noisy), soft (compared to the previous ones, it's more pleasant to drive on our "roads"), fuel consumption has decreased slightly, after 1500 km the factory nipples on the tire remained (did not wear off), the tread is relatively deep, balanced very well (from 10g to 40g per wheel), brakes well. I haven't had a chance to drive on a wet road, snow, mud, or ice yet. I didn't enter a skid on turns, so I don't know how it handles. It seems to drive normally in a rut, doesn't throw. The price is 9500 rubles per wheel, and the price/quality ratio is very satisfying for me at the moment. Let's see how the tires will perform further. I put 3 stars for ice, aquaplaning, and snow without trying, I think it will be okay.

I've been driving on this tire for the third year now, and it handles great in both mud and snow, gripping the road perfectly. True, its handling is slightly worse in the snow compared to winter tires, but in the city it's just fine (if I didn't go out of town, I wouldn't even think about using winter tires). It also handles well at high speeds. When the time comes to replace it, I won't even hesitate - I'll buy the same one again

The tire is indeed very comfortable in terms of vehicle handling and noise. If you nitpick, there is a hissing sound when driving on coarse asphalt at speeds up to 60-70 km/h, but it becomes imperceptible beyond that. The 70-profile handles joints and cracks with ease. It holds the road exceptionally well and is very resistant to aquaplaning and rutting. I was impressed with the braking performance on the highway, including in the rain. Some reviewers complain about the sound of stones getting stuck, but I don't drive with the windows open, so I haven't heard it, not even once. I bought it for my Duster, which has poor sound insulation, but there's no discomfort. And yes, this tire is not for off-road use! The maximum it can handle is slightly slippery dirt roads after rain. However, it performs well on dry sand, like at the beach. I've driven about 6,000 km, and I haven't seen any signs of wear. If it matters to anyone: the tire is slightly undersized in diameter in real life, in my 215/70 R16 size, the wheel height in the assembled state is 70 cm. This is slightly less than what the "tire calculator" shows. The width is exactly 215 mm from sidewall to sidewall. The tread itself is 170 mm wide. Overall, I have a good impression of it, and I might buy it again if nothing more interesting and new appears on the market (and that would be purely out of interest in something new and untested by me).

I bought the tires in the spring of 2025. The tire manufacturing date is the 50th week of 2023!!
The tire is poorly balanced and axial runout is visible to the naked eye. I'm very upset!

I bought these tires for the summer, so I can't rate their performance on ice/snow, and I also can't say anything about their durability - I've only been driving them for a week. Previously, on several cars, I always used Kormoran/Tigar SUV, but they're not available now, so I took Sailun and was pleasantly surprised by all parameters, and most importantly, by comfort - they're very similar to Kormoran/Tigar, soft and quiet, excellent on water-filled ruts and generally on puddles, for the first time I'm driving on Chinese tires, I recommend!

I have 35 years of driving experience (I was an instructor in a driving school while serving in the army). I've driven a lot of different vehicles and been to many places, and I've also taken defensive driving courses (such as Vasins and others). Nowadays, I drive less, mostly within the city limits or around Moscow, following traffic rules and driving on good roads, so I decided to switch to all-season tires instead of changing between winter and summer tires (I have two sets of run-flat tires on alloy wheels - one for summer and one for winter). I read some reviews and decided to try something cheaper (Chinese-made, priced 2-3 times lower than similar tires of the same size and season), not run-flat and with the largest possible size and profile (so they would fit and not rub against the wheel wells). I bought Sailun 235/50-19 and installed them instead of the standard summer 225/45-18 tires. I purchased and had them mounted at Mosshina on Ogorodny Proezd, and overall, I'm satisfied. They have rim protection. The imbalance during assembly was average - around 20-30 grams per wheel. The clearance increased by 17 mm (to 200 mm), and they look better, not scraping against anything. I changed to all-season tires in March and happened to drive on them during a snowstorm and icy road on my way to my country house, and to my surprise, they handled quite well (not much different from my winter tires in normal driving conditions), as long as I didn't drive recklessly. Then I took a trip from Moscow to Orsha in Belarus, driving on highways at high speeds, and they performed reasonably well. The advantages include being quieter than run-flat tires (due to the higher profile, softer sidewalls, and the tire itself). For now, I'm satisfied, but we'll see how they perform over a longer period, especially in winter, once the lamellas wear out. However, for the price, it's not a big deal to replace them more often and not worry about seasonal tire changes and storage.

I bought these tires in size 235/50-19 at Mosshina for year-round use on my all-wheel drive BMW X2 in Moscow and the Moscow region (good clean asphalt and traffic jams or high speed in a crowd of cars).
On snow, snowy slush, and wet ice - approximately like on good studded tires, very grippy, good handling and directional stability.
On clean dry and wet asphalt - like mid-range summer tires.
It swallows potholes, bumps, rails, and pavement very softly.
The noise is small, it increases when speeding up above 80-100 km/h, but it's much quieter than studded tires or off-road tires.
The tread is non-directional, the groove depth is 8 mm.
The sidewalls are of medium thickness and elasticity. The outer side of the tire is where the production date is located.
There is protection for the rim of the alloy wheel.
They are balanced with an acceptable imbalance, some are completely without weights, some with 20-30 grams (not bad for my size).
For careful driving all year round without the hassle of seasonal tire changes (and getting into a spring snowfall, etc.) on good and not very good roads - quite a decent option.

My crossover has driven 67 thousand kilometers on this tire, both in winter and summer, without changing it to seasonal ones. I live in Crimea and we have little snow. I'm very satisfied with the tires. Now it's October and I'm thinking: "should I drive another winter or replace the tires with new ones". The tread depth is still 5-6 mm...

Mainly highway. The tires suit me. And that implies that if I didn't have any negative moments while driving, the tires are good.
