Grippy and soft tire, as if jumped into home slippers, holds onto asphalt like hell

Excellent tires, soft, quiet, hold the road well. Michelin is my third set, I like them. So far I'm satisfied with the purchase.

To date, these are the best summer tires I've ever used. The previous set was Primacy 4, these ones are softer and quieter.

I've been driving on these tires for the fourth season now (over 35,000 km) and I can say the following:

If you need sharp handling, this is not the option, due to the soft and thin sidewall. But this tire is not for that, it's for calm driving, not sports! On highways, I drive at 170, on regular roads mostly at 90-110.

When I bought them, I measured the tread and it was 6.7 mm, and after 35,000 km of mileage, the remaining tread is 4.7-5 mm. Moreover, according to my measurements (I always do them at the end of the season), it seems that the wear is slowing down.

The first 13,000 km, the remaining tread was 5.5-5.9 mm, then I drove another 12,000 km and the remaining tread was 5.25-5.6 mm, after another 10,000 km of mileage, the remaining tread is 4.7-5.0 mm.

The tire has excellent grip properties and behaves well on wet asphalt. It absorbs bumps very well, thanks to the compound mixture and its elasticity. I once hit a pothole in the city without a cover (at a speed of up to 50 km/h).

It swallows all small bumps, joints, and patches very well, and it's comfortable to drive on uneven roads. As for noise, due to the hardness of the mixture, it's not super quiet, but not too loud either (around 71 db). They changed the mixture and the working surface became harder with the new model, and they also slightly reduced the tread height. That means the old model was quieter. In general, I like them, and after this season, I'll probably upgrade to the new Michelin Primacy 5.

Excellent tires, very comfortable ride, practical regardless of the quality of the asphalt. However, for my car, I have to pump them up more than recommended, otherwise, the wheels are completely soft.

In the summer, I put Michelin tires on all my cars. They are very smooth to ride, acceleration and braking are also good, but two seasons and they usually need to be replaced. Well, and of course, they are not cheap

Excellent handling on dry and wet asphalt. Very low noise level. Moreover, the higher the speed, the less noise. Soft and comfortable on bumps, swallows bridge joints. Very good in the track, the car does not wander. Very fast braking. No aquaplaning.

Quiet, but like to pick up stones. In the rain, they hold perfectly.
Do not look at the stars for handling on snow and ice - I haven't tried, it's summer tires after all.

What actually happened and why I chose these tires (even though I didn't buy them from Mosafto - they failed):
I spent a long time researching the possibility of installing 17-inch wheels on the Solaris HS without any consequences. I spent a long time searching online, selecting, and trying out different options. Everything that was available at the time didn't fit - mainly due to the offset and wheel width.
In terms of width: A 205 width fits in the most extreme position, without protruding (just barely). A 215 width protrudes and will rub (with a height of 50).
In terms of 17-inch diameter: If you don't modify the suspension, the maximum tire size is 17/205/45 (like the Hyundai Accent and Verna), 17/205/50 will rub when the wheels are turned to the extreme. But installing 17-inch wheels with 17/205/45 tires would be detrimental to both the suspension and the wheels themselves.
Suspension modification: To install 17/205/55 tires, the suspension was modified (within the allowed limits for this vehicle), including replacing the springs. Currently, Khomen Wheels KHW1707 (KIA Rio I/II Solaris I/II) 6.5x17 4x100 ET 44 Dia 54.1 F-Silver wheels are installed, with Michelin Primacy 4+ 205/55 R17 95V XL tires. Since additional fender liners (on top of the factory-installed felt ones) are installed, there is a 5 mm clearance on each side when the wheels are turned to the extreme positions.
Naturally, fuel consumption increased.
In all other aspects, for me, there are only positive points (including the changes to the suspension): ground clearance, road stability, handling, softness, and more. On vacation, over 20 days, I drove 7000 km on the highway (toll road), "ordinary" roads in southern regions, dirt roads, and mountain roads (without excessive enthusiasm). The car is only serviced at the official service center, with intermediate intervals, each time with a suspension check on the stands.
If you don't understand why you need 17-inch wheels for the Solaris HS (Hyundai Solaris from 2022 and later), then you don't need them (my personal opinion). Firstly, it's expensive. Secondly, you need to do it yourself to save money, if not, then you need to buy a car that meets your requirements (clearance, wheel size, handling, and more). Thirdly, you need to be prepared to take responsibility in case of negative consequences (choosing the wrong wheels, installing the wrong tires, not servicing on time, etc.).

I used Goodyear mainly as summer tires, but after installing Michelin, the car became a class above. The car is unrecognizable. The cabin is quiet, comfort is at a high level. On dry and wet asphalt, maneuvers are precise and predictable, on a straight road, it's like it's glued to the asphalt, and on dirt roads, it's acceptable. The price, we pay for quality, confidence in movement, and wear resistance. As a driver, I recommend.
