Budget tyre so don't expect anything out of the ordinary. However, at moderate speeds, it grips the road well, including open ice. This tyre is noisy.

I'm standing on the first car, the tire was pretty bad at the time, and now it's probably the cheapest one you can drive on.

Sometimes I ride on my dad's 5, which has a CAM 505. I don't even know how old it is, but it's definitely over five years old. We don't drive too much, maybe around 5,000 km in the winter, but this summer it's just not enough to reach that mileage. The tire is definitely not Michelin or Hankook, but it holds the road, so it's possible to drive on it.

The tire is already 3 years old. I bought it as far back as 2009, the main criteria for the purchase was the price. Interestingly, I have survived the last three winters without a single accident. I must say, there are no weak points in the Shinko 505, and for the price it's not just a tire, it's a dream.

Good cheap tire, when I bought thought for a year then sell and buy a branded one, but after the first 1000 km realized there is no sense in selling. The winter of 2012-2013 will be the second, in my car 505 I am sure.

I put this tire on my dad's 4x4 three years ago and he's as happy as a clam. Minimal wear and it handles snow like a tractor. We normally go fishing on the lake in his car and haven't had any issues in three years.
