Amazing wear resistance with quite acceptable road holding. 8 winters driven, at least 80000 km....and even sold as used :)... although wear was already critical. But I'm not to blame if someone needs it :)
This model is no longer produced, bought Nord Frost 5? three winters driven, the same good impressions.

For the money, it's a gift. It outperforms much more famous counterparts in terms of operational characteristics. The main thing is that the studding should be German. With the Russian one, there's still a problem.
I've already driven 3 winters, all the studs are in place. The presence of a differential lock in the manual transmission of my car allows me to feel confident even in very deep snow. On ice, it's also excellent, with great traction.

Gislaved NordFrost 3
I used them for the last 2 seasons 175/160R13 studded (Renault 19). I'm delighted, the best impressions. Before that, I used Sawa studded (also nothing special, but not as good). Now I've changed the car and bought Gislaved NordFrost 3 again, only without studs (I regret now that I didn't buy studded ones).
The tires hold the road perfectly. They stick to it.
I drove an IZh-412 with 45,000 km after switching to these tires and understood the importance for safety. I put them on alloy wheels. The car changed its character. Now I'm a fan of this brand. I bought them for my wife's car. I drove all last winter (2005-2006) and covered almost 15,000 km on them. They wore out very little. I
Not cheap, but nice
185/65 R14. Studs in the front. Renault Laguna. No problems on snow, also on asphalt, and how the studs grip on ice... Doesn't handle sharp turns well. Studs and tire noise is much less than UG500.
Pros: predictable, holds well, low wear
Cons: like any winter tireTerrible
I purchased based on the results of the AvtoReview tests, the initial impressions were quite positive, closer to February, 70-80% of the studs were lost, may be related to the warm winter, although my friends and acquaintances on the Hakka 4 did not lose a single stud. I drive quite calmly, did not make any burnouts on asphalt. Serious complaints about the hardness of the sidewalls: after driving over a harmless pothole on

I bought non-studded tires. I drove for 2 seasons. The wear is minimal.
I bought non-studded tires. I drove for 2 seasons. The wear is minimal. It took me 1 month to get used to the softness of the tires (I couldn't understand where it was wearing out on ice and where it was skidding). When I got used to it, I drove on ice at 110 km/h. 95% of the time I drove

Super tires
This is my second set of winter tires. Factory studded. When there's no ice and snow, I drive on Michelin Alpin every day, but as soon as it gets slippery, it's better not to drive on them. I change all four to Gislaved, fortunately, they all have their own rims. Compared to Michelin, Gislaved handles snow and ice like dry pavement, even on a VAZ 2106. Over the past two years

Not suitable for aggressive driving!! Only calm!
Bad on ice and freshly fallen loose snow, especially if the car has ABS!! Snow slush and wet road - good. Not a high-speed tire! Only calm driving!

Super
Two seasons and it's like new. This is despite the fact that the winters were snowless (didn't wear out on asphalt). On snow and mud, it's just super. As for noise - for soft studded winter tires, it's not noisy.
