Used two winters on my car in a big city and a bit on the tracks.
The tyres themselves really impressed: quiet, well-grip any surfaces. Subjectively not inferior to studs, maybe a couple of times felt that the studs were holding a little better... but literally just a couple of times.
Otherwise - all pluses.

Excellent tires!! To my surprise, they grip ice quite well. Much better than the overpriced garbage from one of the well known Finnish manufacturers (had experience with their tires). Maybe not the quietest and a bit harder, but I really didn't expect the tires to perform so well in all types of tire compounds. They grip well on off-road, on snow and ice, good traction, zero aquaplaning, and on dry asphalt they are like summer tires. Very cool tires,

Bought in 2014, after the standard summer tire was practically noiseless. Where on other cars on different tires, it skids and locks up, I drive like on rails. Now I will always take such a tire for winter.

1.5 thousand kilometers since January and I only driven on it but I can confidently say that the tire is really good. On a rear-wheel drive it easily drives on and off small snowdrifts and small hills. However, the noise level is really not great. Overall, I'm satisfied with it. 225/55/18. Where there are three stars - I have not driven under these conditions.

I drove on these tires one winter in Irkutsk. The impression is only positive - perfectly predictable braking and maneuvering on both asphalt and in snowy and icy conditions. Bought it for my previous car two years ago. All is well!

Bought in the beginning of this winter (October 2017): one had a bulge after a month, the second had a puncture, the third just burst at speed 160 in February.

Replaced the previous generation of Continental tyres with this model - excellent and stable quality, planned to drive all year round. But found a second set of wheels, using these only for winters.

Quiet enough, moderately soft, brakes well, stable on any road. Excellent handling. Well-balanced. Made in Germany!

Got as a gift along with the car. The originals were summer PIRELLI Scorpion.
I'm eagerly waiting for winter so that I can switch to CONTINENTAL.
Quiet, comfortable in the cabin. As I'm already in my late 80s I don't drive fast on our roads. They meet all the criteria.
