On ice, it's very difficult to lock up before bite, but when it short slides, it leaves a mark, like from a skin, maybe it's working as a light alternative to studs – micro-particles in the rubber composition. In the "warm season", it's worth replacing as soon as possible, it drifts and significantly increases wear. The feeling of comfort and confidence is present in snow, slush, and even on ice.

Winter tires, at first glance, are quite good, but there are some drawbacks during long-term operation. For example, if they are over-inflated (and this sometimes happens, because the pressure gauges at tire shops and other places often "lie"), the wear of the central part occurs very quickly. This happened to me, there were bald spots in the center of the tire. Also, after a year or two of driving on them (during the winter season, that is), the cord began to deform, "bumps" appeared, and the tire started to "thump" at speed, I had to replace it.

If you use them in the summer, be careful in the rain, the braking distance will be longer. But on off-road, they are excellent. When they start to wear out, additional noise appears.

I bought a new 10-year-old one from some reserves - couldn't see any difference with a new one.
