This winter, there is no shortage of snow. At the same time, the fact that a lot of it has fallen in many regions all at once plays a significant role. The snow simply hasn't had time to settle. High and loose snowdrifts are a dangerous trap for many, even experienced car owners.

When a car gets stuck and the tire traction is insufficient, and there is no one nearby to help push it out, anti-skid tracks can be very handy.

As a rule, they consist of several sections of plastic with special protrusions for gripping the tires. Sometimes, more elastic ones made of rubber are encountered, occasionally even with metal studs.

When choosing, the main thing is not to buy the cheapest ones. In a critical moment, they can simply turn out to be useless due to their weak design and small thickness.

In any case, in their assembled form, anti-skid tracks take up little space in the trunk, but in a difficult situation, they can provide invaluable assistance.
