How long will the inventory last?

As you may be aware, tires have recently been included in the list of goods subject to mandatory labeling. It is thanks to this accounting that it has become possible to quickly determine the number of tire stocks in Russia.

Given that many manufacturers have suspended their production, this information is extremely important. How long will the already produced tires stored in warehouses last?

According to the estimate of the Center for the Development of Advanced Technologies (they are responsible for the labeling process), there are over 60 million tires in warehouses. At the current sales rate, this volume will last for 1-1.5 years.

Interestingly, the winter segment accounts for 25.5 million tires (14 studded and 11.5 non-studded)

The conclusion suggests itself - there is no shortage of tires on the market yet. It is only observed in the luxury car segment, and not everywhere. But for now.

One thing is certain: if there are tires, they will definitely not be cheaper. Considering the significant price increase in the first quarter of this year, it is worth assessing your tires for wear. If you need to change tires in the upcoming season, do it now.
