The scope of application of the Yokohama Bluearth-Van RY55 summer tire is commercial vehicles of small capacity, operated mainly within the city limits. In such conditions, it is beneficially distinguished by a long service life, stability on wet pavement, and fuel efficiency.

The tread pattern is executed in a typical design for products in this category with a symmetrical non-directional arrangement of elements. In the central part, they have an original triangular shape. The edges formed by this are arranged at an angle and have a significant length. This significantly increases the directional stability in adverse weather conditions.

The shoulder areas of the tread are significantly increased in size, and the blocks that form them have a trapezoidal shape. This prevents their deformation in the transverse direction.
