Tigar SUV Ice
Tire specifications
DescriptionDescription Tigar SUV Ice
The development of the Tigar SUV Ice winter tire for crossovers and SUVs was handled by specialists from Michelin, the company that owns this Eastern European brand. As a result, buyers have the opportunity to purchase a tire that only belongs to the economy segment in terms of cost. In terms of operational properties, this model successfully competes with analogs of at least the mid-range price range.
Road Testing
The launch of the Russian, Belarusian, and Kazakhstani markets was preceded by large-scale testing. Ordinary drivers participated in these tests, who were provided with tires of this model for free. Each of them, operating their car in normal mode, drove at least 5,000 kilometers. This allowed the manufacturer to finally confirm the correctness of the choice of certain technical solutions and find opportunities for modernizing the model in the future.
Tread Pattern
One of the features of the tire is the tread pattern. Although it is made in a V-shaped design, it has several original solutions. First of all, these are the increased size and longitudinal arrangement of the longitudinal blocks in the central part. They are connected by rigid bridges, which, in addition to a large contact patch area, provide directional stability at high speeds. At the same time, the arrangement of longitudinal edges at a sharp angle prevents lateral skidding.
Reliability on Slippery Surfaces
On winter surfaces, the tire's traction properties are ensured by a whole complex of solutions. One of them is the numerous spikes that form 10 continuous rows. The reliability of their retention and the ability to remain in a vertical position is achieved through the use of a two-layer compound. The lower layer is very rigid and it is on this layer that the spikes are fixed. The outer part of the tread has increased elasticity, allowing it to fit more tightly to the road surface. This provides the numerous lamellas with better efficiency.
Key Features of Tigar SUV Ice
- a design adapted to bad roads;
- a two-layer tread;
- numerous spikes and lamellas improve traction on ice;
- a double frame ensures reliability and a long service life;
- stability on asphalt at any speed, thanks to the longitudinal arrangement and large size of the tread blocks

I used to get stuck in the snow often, but then I thought I should write a review because I read reviews before buying anything, and this tire gave me plenty of positive emotions. And now I have a chance to write this review. Firstly, it's nice to spend around 17-18 thousand on tires including installation, compared to 30-40 thousand. Secondly, this tire is almost the same as Michelin, as the plant was bought by them and the technology is the same.

Tigar Suv Ice (studded). After the tire change, the behavior of the vehicle changed for the better. The Suzuki Grand Vitara on its native summer Dniepol drives as a hard sports car, all road roughness is felt, and the tire can be heard well. After the change to the winter Tigar, when driving on asphalt, both the tread and the studs were audible, but the smooth ride, the passage of cracks in the asphalt and other "artificial

Guys, honestly, for 18k these tires are great. The mileage is still low, winter has just started and it's unclear how long the studs will last, how many seasons this will all be, but I'm not experiencing any difficulties with this tire on full throttle, I drive non-aggressively, in sharp turns it may pull, but the skids are predictable - it doesn't cause any problems. In conclusion, 4 18k tires - some friends take one for
