The Routeway brand belongs to the Chinese company Enjoy, founded in 2004 and initially engaged in contract manufacturing of automobile tires for other brands. Over the next 15 years, the enterprise gradually switched to manufacturing tires under its own brand. Modern equipment from world leaders in the industry from Japan, Italy, the Netherlands, and Germany is used. High quality, confirmed by international certificates, allowed the company to establish exports to dozens of countries.
In the passenger tire segment, the brand offers several dozen models of the following categories:
- for passenger cars;
- for commercial vehicles of small capacity;
- for SUVs and crossovers;
- winter tires.
The range of tires for passenger cars can be conditionally divided into two parts - for everyday use and dynamic driving style. In the first case, among the offered set of operational properties, fuel efficiency, large mileage, quiet and smooth ride are especially "highlighted". The "sporty" part of the range is distinguished by the use of rubber compounds with increased "silica" content, which adds efficiency when braking on wet surfaces and stable traction when maneuvering. Additionally, the presence of more rigid sidewalls and a breaker provides fast and accurate responses to the driver's actions when turning the steering wheel.
For commercial vehicles of small capacity, the brand offers a sufficient number of models. The numerousness is due to the presence in the assortment of very specific tires, for example, Roadtrek RY51. The 17.5-inch model is distinguished by extremely high load-carrying capacity, the design of which is completely borrowed from full-size commercial tires for highway trucks, including a steel belt. Another feature of this range of tires is the rubber compound. The compound is highly resistant to wear, punctures, and cuts, which provides the tires with increased mileage in the most difficult conditions.
In the segment of tires for SUVs and crossovers, a range of models is available, designed for any road surfaces. Half of it is represented by High Terrain category tires. They are distinguished by improved traction on wet surfaces, quiet and soft ride, directional stability, and comfort when driving at high speeds. Two models from the entire range are designed for SUVs and pickups with tread patterns of varying degrees of aggression. Such tires are characterized by the use of reinforced carcasses with a "hybrid" structure, which uses both steel and synthetic cord. Additionally, the profile of the sidewalls and the tread is optimized to maximize the contact patch of the tire with the surface. Another feature is the use of a more durable rubber compound, resistant to wear, punctures, and tears.
For snowy and icy roads, Routeway offers several models designed for use in regions with moderate and harsh winters. All tires are made from a special compound that can maintain a large part of its elasticity even at extremely low temperatures. Another common feature of all winter tires is the use of classic V-shaped tread patterns with a large number of blocks and densely cut lamellas. This largely determines their high efficiency on snow and ice.
