Silica-containing compound

The traction properties on a slippery surface are largely due to the physico-chemical properties of the rubber mixture, namely its increased elasticity. This is achieved due to the increased content of colorless silicon dioxide crystals, better known as silica. This component allows the tread to very tightly fit even the smallest irregularities, which improves grip with the road surface. This property is almost completely preserved even at low temperatures of the external environment.

Reliability in adverse weather conditions

A tread with a V-shaped arrangement of elements is used here. We are talking, first of all, about drainage grooves that are inclined and directed against the direction of movement. Such features significantly increase their throughput, which allows effectively cleaning the contact patch from water and its mixture with snow and dirt. As a result, high resistance to both aquaplaning and slushplaning is achieved.

Saw-toothed slots

Each tread block has several narrow slots. They improve traction on slippery surfaces by forming numerous edges. Their effectiveness is enhanced by the saw-toothed shape, which also provides better handling by limiting the lateral movement of the blocks.
