DescriptionDescription Prinx HT2 Hicountry
The Prinx HT2 Hicountry summer tire for SUVs and crossovers belongs to the High Terrain category, demonstrating the highest performance on paved roads. It is distinguished by the stability of its traction properties at high speeds, braking efficiency on dry and wet surfaces, ease of handling, acoustic comfort, and wear resistance.
The tread pattern consists of blocks distributed along five longitudinal ribs. This design largely determines the good stability that this tire demonstrates at high speeds, along with reduced rolling resistance. Another feature of the pattern is the increased stiffness of the shoulder zones. They are enlarged and have a profile that further increases the stability of the blocks against deformation. This provides more precise handling in turns, as well as prevents uneven wear of the entire tread. Efficiency on wet surfaces is achieved due to the increased number of lamellas, forming hundreds of additional edges in the contact patch, as well as wide and multidirectional grooves that intensively drain water from under the tire.
Key features of Prinx HT2 Hicountry
- enlarged size and stiffness of the shoulder zones increase the stability of traction in turns, reduce wear;
- optimized arrangement and numerous lamellas provide reliable handling on wet surfaces;
- Nano Blend compound provides the tread with elasticity at low temperatures, enhancing traction in rainy conditions

Pleased with the tires. It turned out that the tire tests were conducted in all weather conditions during the May holidays, except for low negative temperatures. Rain, snow, wet snow, and ice at the lowest temperature of minus 4 degrees - a trip from Moscow to St. Petersburg on the night of May 8-9. At a speed of 120-150 km/h, there was no reason for concern. Excellent summer tires with notes of "all-season" characteristics.

They surprised me with their obedience and stability at speed, in a rut and when accelerating. Sharp braking, yes, a strange feeling, I press the brake harder, but this is subjective, maybe they are soft. They hold the rut much better than Nokian, which used to throw me out of the rut harshly, while these tires give a feeling - the rut presses gently, and the car softly leaves the rut if you don't hold the wheel. At speeds from 100 on asphalt, you drive like on a ruler, fast turns at such speeds - excellent, without strange dynamics like Nokian (Nokian has slow or too fast reaction, feeling of slipping, oscillations). About wet asphalt - I didn't understand, whether there are differences, maybe I'm not attentive. Completely quiet - 1) I often park in complex, delicate places with open windows and hear nothing; 2) I often start moving immediately and open the windows for ventilation - silence at low speeds.
(when writing a review, they require you to put all the marks, but how to put marks for winter, if I didn't drive on them in winter, so I put all "winter" 5.

Overall, I would rate these tires 4.8 out of 5. In the summer heat, they become a bit wobbly, so you need to be careful when braking, don't expect miracles. But on dirt roads, they perform 100%. Resistance to aquaplaning is "good". For me, they are not noisy, and they balance normally. In general, the tires are satisfactory.
