Pace Antarctica 5
Tire specifications
DescriptionDescription Pace Antarctica 5
The Pace Antarctica 5 summer tire is used in compact crossovers and SUVs. It is characterized by improved traction properties on snowy surfaces, a high level of acoustic comfort, fuel efficiency, and a long service life.
The tread pattern has a directional design with large blocks. The elements are arranged in such a way that very long V-shaped transverse edges are formed in the contact patch. They allow for intense acceleration and deceleration on snowy surfaces. On packed snow and ice, the traction properties remain reliable due to the several thousand wave-like lamellas that literally cover the entire tread. Another feature of its design is the arrangement and triangular shape of the blocks in the central part, where they form a wide longitudinal rib. This significantly reduces rolling resistance and noise level.
Key Features of Pace Antarctica 5
- excellent performance on snow thanks to a tread pattern with long V-shaped edges;
- triangular shape and "chessboard" arrangement of blocks in the central part reduce rolling resistance, improve acoustic comfort;
- numerous sinusoidal lamellas provide reliable traction on packed snow.

Good tire, and considering the price, it's only 14,5k for 4 tires 17 radius, it's a real bargain. I drove on it 900 km on a highway in a snowstorm, it holds the road well, of course, you don't speed up on a snow-covered road in a blizzard, nor do you need to. No issues arose during installation with balancing. No complaints with the tire.

Nice surprise!
Decided to try these tires on the snow patch (could not imagine that this winter would be so cold and snowy – 20/21).
Immediately after putting them on, I felt the clear steering and control over the asphalt in late November. And on the snow, they perform no worse than the Nokian Nordman 4 studded.
Heavy on ice.

I'm very satisfied with the tire, the quality is excellent, but as expected, it's a bit slippery on ice, which might be a drawback, but it's not a characteristic feature, I would definitely recommend this tire, it's a great value, especially considering the price.
