The scope of application of the Mirage MR-W562 winter tire is compact passenger cars, mainly operated in urban conditions. This model is characterized by confident behavior, both on slippery surfaces from snow and ice, and on dry pavement. At the same time, the driving process is accompanied by comfortable handling, low noise level, and a soft ride.

The tread pattern is executed in an asymmetric design. Its distinctive feature is the arrangement of lamellas with a very high density. At the same time, two types of such cuts are used. The outer part of the tread contains straight lamellas, which accelerate the removal of water from the contact patch, and also, by giving the blocks some longitudinal mobility, allow for better control of traction and braking. Wave-like cuts enhance the grip properties on ice, which, due to their shape, are accompanied by good stability. Another important feature is the large size and numerousness of drainage grooves. This minimizes the risk of aquaplaning and slash-planning.
