The Mirage MR-220 summer commercial tire is designed for compact vans and light trucks. It features increased load-carrying capacity and resistance to damage, along with stable traction on dry and wet surfaces, good ride comfort for its category, and acoustic comfort.
The tread pattern consists of a combination of massive blocks. The elements are connected to each other and form wide longitudinal ribs, reducing rolling resistance, preventing rapid wear of the tread, and providing comfortable handling at high speeds. The numerous and multidirectional edges formed by the elements and the wide grooves between the ribs give the tire high performance on wet surfaces, maintaining a large part of it even with significant tread wear. It's worth noting the zigzag shape of the edges of the longitudinal ribs, which also enhances resistance to aquaplaning, preventing rapid wear of the tread, especially when operating under high weight loads.
