DescriptionDescription Michelin X-Ice
Michelin X-Ice tires — excellent French tires for the Russian harsh winter.
Michelin X-Ice tires – ultimate safety on icy roads!
The Michelin X-Ice tire model provides outstanding grip on icy roads, ensuring maximum safety! Compared to other winter tires, the braking distance of Michelin X-Ice tires is 9 meters shorter, which is equal to the length of two cars. At the base of the tread, a hard rubber compound is used, which gives Michelin X-Ice tires excellent handling. In the contact area with the road, on the contrary, a softer rubber compound is used, which provides high grip properties.
Michelin X-Ice tires retain their characteristics from season to season: the tire tread retains its softness in the contact area with the road surface due to the ability of the rubber compound to self-adapt.
Michelin X-Ice tires – excellent traction on snowy roads!
If we compare Michelin X-Ice tires with their predecessor Michelin Maxi-ice, the traction indicators have improved by 8%. Reliable road grip is provided by the pointed edges of the shoulder area in combination with numerous bridges located at the base of the longitudinal channels, the length of which has been increased by 25%.
Michelin X-Ice tires – great handling on dry roads!
When driving on dry road surfaces, Michelin X-Ice tires also guarantee high vehicle handling. It is worth noting that Michelin X-Ice tires are one of the quietest winter tires.

Expensive tires, but they're worth it
Lately, I've been dreaming of driving on Michelin tires. I've heard a lot of good things about them, so I decided to put them on my car, at least on the front, for the winter. The studded and non-studded tires were the same price. I used to always choose studded tires, but this time I decided to try the "soft" ones. They didn't disappoint. They grip the ice

Decent tires for a decent price
I bought them last year for $160 per wheel. My car is only a year old, so the break-in period was almost entirely on these tires in the winter (I only drove on the stock Bridgestone for a week back then). They didn't cause any complaints - only praise. In snow and slush, they perform like a tank (although the car's specifications also have an effect). I was able to drive into fairly deep snow without

I've read a lot of reviews and it seems to me that people don't really understand the difference between studs and studdable tires. This model is the leader in terms of price/quality for possible studdable tires. Confident handling even on ice! I've personally taken it on ice at the hakkapeli hill near my home and other crazy snows. The only thing that matters is the temperature!!! Under -10 this tire will give everyone a spin... I've tried it out
