Michelin Pilot Sport A/S Plus is an all-season model of the Performance class. It replaced its predecessor, Pilot Sport All-Season Plus. Despite the fact that the new model is based on the older one, its characteristics differ significantly. This was achieved through the use of advanced technologies (although they played a significant role) and the manufacturer's extensive experience in the UHP segment, which has been working for many years.

TriFusion Technology

To give the model the most effective qualities that would allow it to be used in various weather and road conditions, the company's research center applied a special technology - TriFusion. Its essence lies in the use of three different compounds (rubber mixes) when creating the tread. Thanks to this approach, the tire demonstrates excellent performance on wet, snowy, and dry road surfaces. As a result, the tire took one of the leading positions in the all-season tire segment.

Wet Traction

Since all-season tires Michelin Pilot Sport A/S Plus are used all year round, they must be prepared for use on wet roads. Knowing this, the developers equipped this model with a special tread that has a symmetrical direction. Its V-shaped lamellas contribute to more stable vehicle behavior, even in rainy weather. They prevent excessive water accumulation in the contact area, preventing hydroplaning.

New Rubber Compound

In view of the all-season use, the Michelin Pilot Sport A/S Plus underwent a change in the compound itself, in which the amount of silica was changed. Thanks to this, the tire became more grippy, guaranteeing adequate vehicle behavior in any weather conditions.

MaxTouch Construction Technology

To increase durability, a new technology called MaxTouch Construction was used in this model. It implies a number of design features that guarantee a mileage of 45,000 miles. Agree, this is a significant indicator that makes the model more efficient in economic terms.
