Maxxis MA-S1 Marauder

Released globally by the world-renowned and respected Taiwanese company, the Maxxis MA-S1 Marauder all-season light vehicle tire is designed for high-performance vehicles, pickup trucks, SUVs, light trucks, and other SUV category vehicles.

This tire combines an original, V-shaped design of the symmetrical directional tread pattern with a stylish sidewall appearance. The tire tread pattern consists of four rows of shoulder blocks and two shoulder zones, which essentially represent two more rows of blocks. The central row of blocks, due to their original shape, form a single rib, which allowed for a significant increase in the tire's contact area, thereby improving the tire's traction and adhesion characteristics.

Additionally, this element arrangement scheme helps reduce the braking distance and lower rolling resistance, which affects fuel efficiency. The other two rows of blocks, located in the central part of the tread, also contribute to increasing the tire's contact area Maxxis MA-S1 due to their arrangement scheme. The shoulder zones of the tread are represented by two rows of separate blocks, the edges of which provide additional traction on slippery and unstable surfaces. A distinctive feature of the shoulder zones is the inwardly curved tire profile, which significantly reduces the likelihood of punctures or cuts when driving off-road.

Considering operation outside of paved roads, the tire carcass design has been significantly strengthened with a two-layer steel cord and an additional layer of nylon fibers, which has significantly increased the carcass strength, making it elastic and resistant to external mechanical aggression. For additional elasticity, as well as improved softness and comfort when driving on rough terrain, the tire breaker is equipped with two layers of polyester.
