The tread pattern is notable for the large number of grip edges. They are formed by blocks and lamellas cut into them. In many cases, the edges formed by them intersect with each other, which further enhances the grip properties on wet pavement. They are ensured by a rubber compound with a high content of "silica". This compound, due to its elasticity at low temperatures, allows the lamella and block edges to fit more closely to the road surface, increasing the tire's performance in these conditions. A "side" effect of these solutions is a significant increase in smooth ride and acoustic comfort, especially on roads with worn-out pavement. An important feature of the tire is its special contour shape. The variable curvature of the profile increases the contact patch, optimizing the distribution of the car's weight on the road surface. This not only enhances grip but also makes it more stable, making it easier to control the trajectory of the car's movement.
