Some of the drainage elements are directed against the direction of travel, allowing water to be diverted from the contact patch with exceptional intensity. In such conditions, the elongated curved edges of the blocks in the central part allow maintaining directional stability even at high speeds. The continuous longitudinal rib in the middle and rigid blocks in the shoulder areas, providing uniform pressure distribution across the contact patch, enhance the stability of traction and handling accuracy in turns, as well as slow down tread wear.
