Kapsen RS23 PracticalMax A/T
Tire specifications
DescriptionDescription Kapsen RS23 PracticalMax A/T
The Kapsen RS23 tire is designed for SUVs and pickup trucks that spend as much time on paved roads as they do off-road. The model belongs to the All Terrain category and is characterized by good performance on any surface, reliability in the most unfavorable operating conditions.
Universal tread pattern
The versatility of application is largely ensured by the design of the tread pattern. It is symmetrical and non-directional, contains a large number of blocks. However, their shape, size and location are chosen in such a way that the grip is good and stable, both on asphalt and on dirt roads. It is provided by large contact patch sizes and the presence of many sharp multidirectional edges.
Directional stability
One of the distinctive features of the tread is the presence of a very wide longitudinal rib that runs exactly in the center. It has a composite structure that contains many blocks. They are inclined relative to the direction of movement, which significantly limits their mobility under the influence of lateral acceleration forces and thus increases directional stability at high speeds without compromising efficiency off-road.
Acoustic comfort
Being equipped with a tread with a large number of blocks, the tire nevertheless demonstrates a high level of acoustic comfort. It is provided by the multi-step arrangement of the blocks and the large inclination of the edges formed by them, which significantly minimizes resonant noises and vibrations.
Key features of Kapsen RS23
- universal tread pattern provides high efficiency both on asphalt and off-road;
- excellent directional stability and high maneuverability due to the inclination of blocks in the central longitudinal rib;
- high level of acoustic comfort is provided by the multi-step arrangement of blocks.

An acceptable price, not too noisy for AT tires, that's for sure.
In size 265/70 R16, compared to other tires, the contact patch with the road surface is smaller
than my winter tires, for example. That means if you drive it off-road, I suppose the sidewalls will also be scraping.- Vehicle:
