Tyres Hubtrac
The Hubtrac trademark belongs to the Chinese company Linglong. The brand was established in 2020 and is used for tire products with improved traction properties and increased service life. They are distributed across six lines, which together contain more than 150 models. All are designed for commercial and special equipment. These tires differ from those with the "parent" brand in terms of indexing, sidewall design, and production location. For these purposes, Linglong's foreign enterprises in Serbia and Thailand are involved, located near the main markets for Hubtrac tires.
In the segment of commercial tires, the manufacturer is represented by models of the following categories:
- for highways;
- for regional roads;
- for mixed conditions;
- for mines and quarries;
- for winter roads;
- for urban roads.
The "highway" line consists of two-thirds of models for driving axles. This is due to the fact that among them there are tires with improved traction properties on wet and snowy surfaces, as well as tires with an increased tread width, which allows you to abandon the so-called "pairs". Another feature of the line is the increased depth of the tread pattern. For steering axle tires, this indicator is 14.5 mm, and for driving axles, it is at least 16 mm. Along with the use of wear-resistant compounds, this significantly increases the tire's service life.
Hubtrac tires for medium-distance transportation are combined in the Regional line. It also includes tires of two categories - for driving and steering axles. Structurally, they are the same tires as the "highway" models, differing in tread patterns, which adapt them to operation in certain road conditions. First of all, on wet and snowy roads. The tread patterns of the "regional" tires contain many more traction edges.
In the Mix segment, the brand is represented by tires that are equally well suited for operation on both asphalt roads and dirt surfaces. Two-thirds of the line consists of universal models for all axles. The remaining part consists of tires for driving and trailer axles. The key difference is the increased, by more than 30%, load-carrying capacity. Here, reinforced frames and special compounds with increased resistance to tears and punctures are used. In addition, there are tread patterns composed of large blocks, providing reliable traction on dirt roads.
Tires for mines and quarries are combined in the Mine line. All models are designed for driving axles and differ from "highway" tires in terms of load-carrying capacity - up to 3250 kg per wheel. But at the same time, the depth of the tread pattern is significantly increased - from 23 mm. In addition, a "block" design of the tread is used, which provides excellent traction and stability on rocky and gravel surfaces.
Hubtrac is one of the few that offers commercial tires specifically for winter conditions. The Winter line consists of models mainly for driving axles, with a small part represented by universal tires for all axles and for trailers. The key features of these tires are the design of the tread patterns with blocks and lamellas, the increased depth of their cutting, as well as the use of special rubber compounds that are elastic at low temperatures.
The segment of tires for urban roads is represented by the Urban line. All models are universal and can be installed on any axle. The scope of their application is large-capacity buses. The line uses several tread patterns, each of which is designed for specific road conditions and differs in the number of ribs, lamellas, and blocks. It is also worth noting the "off-road" depth of cutting - from 16 to 21 mm, which increases the tire's mileage and reduces the risk of through damage to its tread. It is made from a special compound with increased resistance to abrasive wear, the formation of small cracks, and a pronounced ability to dissipate heat generated by the frame elements.
