High Performer HS-2
Tire specifications
DescriptionDescription High Performer HS-2
The High Performance HS-2 summer tire fully lives up to its name, boasting excellent handling and traction. This model is designed for owners of powerful passenger cars in the small and medium classes who prefer an aggressive driving style but are not willing to sacrifice a high level of comfort.
Aggressive tread pattern design
The tread pattern of this tire features a classic V-shaped design, typical of most UHP models. It consists of a wide longitudinal rib, located in the center of the tread, and two shoulder zones that occupy the rest of it. This tread structure of the High Performance HS-2 provides practically the maximum possible contact patch size, which has achieved excellent traction on dry surfaces. The central longitudinal rib, with its high structural stiffness, gives the tire a sharp, almost sporty handling.
Excellent traction in wet weather
A characteristic feature of this model is its "all-weather" capability, which is ensured by the high performance of the drainage system. The V-shaped tread pattern, with drainage channels arranged at a significant angle to the direction of movement, plays a significant role in this. Additionally, the number of these drainage channels and their curved shape, which helps to avoid the formation of water swirls, should be noted. As a result, the water drainage speed and contact patch have been significantly increased, which has had a very positive effect on the tire's resistance to aquaplaning and, therefore, on safety when driving on wet roads.
Main features of the High Performance HS-2 model
- The aggressive design of the V-shaped symmetrical directional tread pattern provides excellent road traction at any speed;
- Large contact patch sizes due to the massive size of the tread elements;
- The solid longitudinal rib, located in the central part of the tread, allows the tire to demonstrate extremely clear reactions to steering wheel turns;
- The curved shape of the transverse drainage channels, combined with their arrangement at a significant angle to the direction of movement, has made it possible to significantly increase the water drainage speed from the contact patch.

Remarkable traction on dry roads, care on wet roads: reduced water flow is evacuated poorly. Mileage in km range 5000.
