Grenlander GL868 Winter

The Grenlander GL868 Winter tire is designed for SUVs and crossover vehicles. It is recommended by the manufacturer for use on cleared asphalt roads. It features improved traction on wet, snowy, and icy surfaces. It is also characterized by ease of handling, quiet and smooth ride.

The tread pattern is a directional non-symmetric design with large blocks. Combined with the optimization of the tread profile, this increases the contact patch, thereby improving traction on cleared roads, especially at high speeds. It's worth noting the presence of wide "bridges" between the shoulder blocks. By limiting the mobility of the elements, they increase the accuracy of handling and stability of traction.

The tread is literally covered with wavy narrow slits. These elements, arranged transversely, have allowed to reduce the braking distance, mainly on slippery wet and icy surfaces.
