The Gislaved Premiumcontrol summer tire is designed for powerful versions of passenger cars, but is also perfectly suitable for everyday driving. It is characterized by comfort of handling, along with excellent traction on dry and wet surfaces, and directional stability at high speeds.
The tread pattern is designed in an asymmetric design, with a predominance of massive and rigid elements. Along with the profile of the tread, which is flat in the central part and noticeably rounded shoulder areas, this provides excellent handling when maneuvering and directional stability when driving in a straight line. These solutions significantly increase the tire's mileage due to increased wear resistance, as well as reduce rolling resistance, improving fuel efficiency. Another feature of the tire is the use of a high-tech rubber compound. The compound based on "silica" and the use of special polymers remains elastic at low temperatures, enhancing traction on wet surfaces, as well as extremely resistant to abrasive wear and the formation of cracks and tears.

It seems like they only publish good reviews??? Why can't I see my previous review? Wasn't it published???
I installed a set of these tires, everything was fine, but three out of four wheels turned out to be unbalanced. After 110 km/h, vibration starts, and it's impossible to drive at 140 km/h for a long time due to strong vibration. Rebalancing didn't help. Although the winter tires of the same company are sticky, it's like heaven and earth.
But otherwise, the tires are excellent, they handle the road well in any weather. Not noisy.

A review should be written when it's been three or four years and the tire has a mileage of 30-40 thousand. But for now, it's been the first year and ~5 thousand. The tire is soft, quiet, balanced usually, 15-20 grams, gripping on dry asphalt, I drive in pensioner mode, well, sometimes like a mom's racing driver, within the speed limit and in turns it doesn't skid or slide. In the rain, I drive slowly, when there's water in the ruts, it's all the same, it doesn't hydroplane. In general, the tire pleased me, it's comfortable. Previously, I had 11-year-old Dunlop Sport BluResponse 205/55 R16 91H and it was also good, a bit noisier, but damn it, 11 years old and it still had 1.5 mm of tread left before the limit, and I only drove 30 thousand kilometers in 3 years, and the previous owners... We'll see what happens with Gislaved, but for now, I'm fully satisfied. The usage is not extreme, city, highway, and a dirt road to the dacha. I haven't hit any severe potholes yet. If there's an opportunity, I'll add to the review. For now, I give it 5!!!, but these are the fives of a regular average driver, not a professional on a track or polygon.

Tire fire!!! I've been driving on a set of Premiumcontact 2, Premiumcontact 5, Premiumcontact 6 since 2011, so I have something to compare with. The 2024 release, fresh one. The tire is very quiet and perfectly absorbs minor asphalt defects. In terms of wear, it's slightly less than the 6th model. I haven't driven in the rain yet, but I'm sure everything will be fine. I took 205/55 R16 for 4700 rubles due to a promotion, the price is nice) I hope the quality won't degrade over time. I recommend the tire!!!
