Safety on wet surfaces is ensured by a complex of engineering solutions. Wide grooves in the central zone act like highly efficient pumps, actively cutting and draining water from under the contact patch, counteracting hydroplaning. An optimized network of lamellas and increased volume of water-draining grooves maintain their effectiveness even with significant tread wear, providing a consistently short braking distance.
