Fullrun Frun-UHP

The Fullrun Frun-UHP summer tire is designed for the most dynamic versions of compact and medium-sized passenger cars. It shows the greatest efficiency when high-speed maneuvering, differing in a sporty precise controllability and stability.

The tread part of the tire features an asymmetric arrangement of elements and their enlarged sizes. In the central part, there are two very wide ribs. The monolithic structure of these elements gives the handling process precision, also improving directional stability and providing more transparent feedback on the steering wheel. The shoulder zone on the outside contains, in addition to cross-directed blocks, a narrow rib. It enhances the action of these elements, further increasing stability. Efficiency on wet surfaces is ensured by four wide and deep longitudinal grooves and numerous transverse grooves adjacent to them.

Main features:

- two solid ribs in the central part increase handling precision and directional stability;
- the inclination of the transverse drainage grooves and their direction against the movement reduces the risk of aquaplaning;
- the optimized tread profile expands the contact patch, ensures the constancy of its shape and size under the influence of multidirectional acceleration forces.
