Farroad FRD78

Farroad FRD78 – winter tires of the economy class, used predominantly on SUVs. Suitable for daily movement around the city and highway, as well as for complex, dirt roads and off-road. This friction model has a large number of lamellas and drainage elements.

The tread pattern is asymmetric and has two active sides. The features of the stud arrangement and their large size provide reliable traction with road surfaces of any complexity, as well as safety of maneuvers and braking. All studs have multiple grooves and lamellas, which provide numerous traction edges – they work effectively on snowy and icy roads.

The drainage system implies the presence of four large longitudinal channels (one of which has a wavy shape), as well as many transverse grooves. Such a network allows quickly and efficiently removing snow slush, mud and moisture from the contact patch area. The tire is not prone to aquaplaning, both lateral and directional, and also demonstrates safe behavior when performing active maneuvers.
