Tire specifications
DescriptionDescription Cooper Cobra VHP
Released worldwide by the famous North American manufacturer, the all-season Cooper Cobra VHP tire is designed for powerful small and medium-sized passenger cars.
The tire features a V-shaped directional tread pattern design with an aggressive exterior look. In the center of the tread pattern, there is a solid rib with no interruptions throughout its length. This has made it possible to achieve excellent directional stability when driving at high speeds, as well as significantly reduce the tire's response time to steering wheel turns.
On either side of the central rib, there are two rows of wide blocks of a quadrangular shape, which, due to the large contact area of the tire, improve handling on dry pavement. Additionally, the arrangement of the blocks with an optimized step has significantly reduced the noise level, thereby adding comfort while driving. Thanks to the reinforced shoulder zones and their rounded profile, the tire demonstrates excellent traction when cornering and resistance to uneven wear.
Another distinctive feature of the Cooper Cobra VHP tire is its increased resistance to aquaplaning, thanks to four longitudinally arranged grooves that, in combination with the system of transverse grooves, efficiently drain water from the tire's contact patch, making high-speed driving on very wet roads stable and safe. It is also worth noting that such a scheme for arranging tread elements significantly improves the tire's heat dissipation when driving at high speeds. This is an important consideration, given the tire's assigned speed indices – "V", "H".
Main features of the Cooper Cobra VHP tire
- excellent traction on dry, wet, and damp roads, thanks to the aggressive V-shaped directional tread pattern design;
- the highest level of aquaplaning resistance is ensured by extremely efficient water drainage from the contact patch;
- smoothness, comfort, and low noise when driving, thanks to the original tread pattern of the tire;
- low heat generation of the tire when driving at high speeds is ensured by an optimized scheme for arranging tread elements.
