The Austone SP701 summer tire is designed for sedans and grand tourers of premium brands. It is distinguished by comfort at any speed, traction on wet surfaces, and a long service life.
The asymmetric tread pattern features four longitudinal drainage grooves that reduce the risk of aquaplaning at almost any speed. At the same time, the rigid solid rib in the center provides excellent handling. It is maintained during maneuvering thanks to a wide shoulder area on the outside of the tread with massive transverse blocks. In turn, the traction properties and their stability during acceleration are achieved due to the length and multitude of edges formed by the blocks in the central part and in the edge zones.
The tire tread is made from a rubber compound with a high silica content. This component, in combination with special polymers, improves traction on wet surfaces and resistance to abrasive wear.

My first experience with Chinese tires. A penny saved is a penny earned, but not in my case) The tire is light, with a beautiful tread pattern and seemingly wide grooves for water drainage, but:
- Jetta 7 on st_1 190 horsepower and this tire cannot grip dry asphalt ever! Always wheel spin 1 and the stability control light is flashing.
- On a dry road, emergency braking is like driving in the rain. ABS and stability control keep disengaging. I understand that the culprit is the tire compound, it's mega hard and wooden. Great for taxi drivers, as it's non-wearing, but deadly(- Wet road. This is hell, comrades! You can't drive over 80 km/h because when you hit any small patch of water, the car starts to drift across the lane (like when you're on wide tires and hit a tram track). You're not driving the wheel, you're praying that it won't spin out of control. Accelerating from a standstill in the rain - wheel spin and all the assists are working on 3rd gear!!
- If in brief - this tire is for those who are not afraid of death and are ready to openly fight with it: wooden, not gripping, skidding while braking, horribly afraid of road unevenness and generally not working in the rain. The worst tire possible.- Vehicle:

Athena SP-701 tire. I purchased 4 tires, 2 of which cannot be balanced. At a speed of 140 km/h and above, there is a constant vibration! ALWAYS! I had the wheels installed not at your place (I didn't have time), so I didn't return them as defective. I tried to balance them at 4 different service centers, including premium segment ones. The result is the same - IMBALANCE! I'm not buying Chinese tires for the first time and I was satisfied. Now I WON'T RECOMMEND THEM TO ANYONE!!!

I bought the tires on 03.01.24, installed them the next day, the impressions are positive, the tires are not noisy, soft, absorb small bumps, although the profile is 45, in general, everything is fine so far, let's see how they perform in further operation. I haven't driven in the rain yet, so I can't say anything about that for now.
