Antares SU-832

Antares SU-832 – summer tire designed for installation on small and medium-sized passenger cars. Provides precise handling, is characterized by low noise and effective protection against aquaplaning.

The non-directional asymmetric tread features a solid rib in the center. Its main task is to ensure precise handling at speed and maintain directional stability. On either side of it, there are two ribs with a developed system of grooves. The edges formed by them improve the traction properties, reducing the braking distance. To maintain control over the vehicle when performing maneuvers, wide shoulder zones with mirror-placed diagonal grooves are provided. This solution allows maintaining not only contact with the road surface but also diverting excess moisture and heat. Therefore, the tire can maintain the elasticity of the compound over a wide temperature range.

Computer modeling allowed creating a tread pattern that does not allow vortices to form. This has a positive effect on the acoustic comfort in the cabin, including at high speeds.
