Laufenn LF95 – a highway tire designed for transportation companies operating at medium and long distances on high-quality roads. This is a tire with a priority on directional stability, where the main emphasis is on the rigidity of the design and thermoregulation.

Five-rib design

The tread is executed according to the classic scheme of a closed design with five longitudinal ribs. However, the main "trick" is hidden in the shoulder zones. The outer ribs do not have transverse breaks and notches — this is a monolithic structure. This solution turns the "shoulders" into a powerful stabilizer. They work like guide rails, excluding "skidding" of transport at high speed and preventing the development of uneven wear.

Thermal stability

When driving on the highway at long distances, the main enemy of the tire is overheating. It provokes the aging of the rubber and a network of microcracks. In the central ribs of the model, special lamellas of a special design are used. They perform a double function:

- work as micro-pumps, removing thermal energy from the tread mass;
- improve the efficiency of traction characteristics.

Adaptation to wet asphalt

Despite the closed design, the tire does not sacrifice safety in the rain. Four deep longitudinal grooves effectively cut through the water film, evacuating large volumes of water from the contact patch. This practically excludes the risk of hydroplaning even when driving at permitted speeds in highway mode. Numerous lamellas, in turn, create additional grip edges when emergency braking on wet pavement, increasing the intensity of deceleration.

Main features of Laufenn LF95:

- 4 longitudinal drainage channels guarantee stable contact with the road at high speeds, effectively counteracting hydroplaning;
- reinforced monolithic shoulder ribs — rigidity when maneuvering and a factor of protection against uneven wear;
- lamellas of central ribs increase the efficiency of braking on wet asphalt, contribute to heat removal, thereby increasing mileage and reducing air resistance.
