The Kama U-2 truck tire, produced by one of the leaders of the domestic tire industry, is designed for the GAZ-53 truck and the PAZ-3205 bus, as well as their modifications. This model is favorably distinguished by an attractive cost, good operational characteristics, and a long service life. At the same time, the tire is released only in a chamber version.

This tire is equipped with a symmetrical non-directional tread pattern, the design of which allows the use of this model throughout the year and on various types of surfaces. Considering the specificity of the tire's application on medium-capacity trucks and buses, its tread was equipped with four longitudinal ribs. At the same time, each of these ribs, including the shoulder areas, consists of a series of separate blocks that are distinguished by massive sizes.

The tread blocks located in the central part of the tread, due to their polygonal configuration and arrangement at a very small distance from each other, made it possible to achieve a large contact patch area and a very even distribution of external load on it. Due to this, it was possible to provide the Kama U2 tire with a mass of advantages - excellent traction, low rolling resistance, and a reduction in the likelihood of uneven tread wear. In addition, the numerous sharp edges formed by the tread blocks provide more reliable traction on slippery surfaces, as well as on unstable soils - mud and sand.

The shoulder areas, considering the possibility of operation on dirt roads, have a reinforced design. This part of the tread is represented by two additional rows of powerful mud grips, which provide excellent passability for winter truck tires. In addition, the large height of these tread blocks allows for effective protection of the tire's sidewalls from punctures and cuts.
