The commercial tire Kama 701 belongs to the new generation of tire products released today by a well-known domestic manufacturer. The main difference between this model and its predecessors is the presence of a full-metal carcass, which allowed improving most of the operational properties, first of all, the carrying capacity and fuel efficiency.
Universal tread pattern
This model was developed specifically for trucks that operate not only on asphalt but also on dirt roads. That's why the design of its tread pattern is open. It contains many separate elements, the shape and arrangement of which are different, which is due to their belonging to one or another functional zone. This allows the tire to demonstrate universal characteristics on any type of road surface, including those with reduced carrying capacity.
High level of reliability
In addition to the full-metal carcass, the developers of this tire used a number of other solutions to ensure maximum reliability. One of them is the optimized composition of the rubber mixture. Thanks to special components, it has increased resistance to any aggressive effects, including punctures and cuts. In this regard, it is also worth mentioning the increased tread depth and significant distance between all its blocks. This significantly increases the reliability of the tire.
Traction characteristics and good fuel efficiency
As mentioned earlier, the tread blocks have different shapes and sizes. In the central part, there are G-shaped blocks installed at a minimum distance from each other and at a sharp angle. This reduces rolling resistance, which improves fuel efficiency. In turn, the blocks in the shoulder zones have a trapezoidal shape and a transverse arrangement at a large distance from each other. These design features improve longitudinal traction characteristics and stability when maneuvering.

The tread still has at least 50,000 kilometers of life left in it. Overloads do happen, after all. As long as the cords are still in good condition and there are no tread separations, the tires are still in perfect condition.

The tires are three years old, this summer on highway construction, big mileage with full and empty loads. Handling is always precise. When needed, it grips well. In terms of wear, compared to Chinese tires, my friend's Kama tires are more resistant to wear.
