The Aeolus ASR69 cargo tire, produced by one of the leading Chinese manufacturers, is designed for installation on the steering axles of trucks. This model replaced the HN255 tire and is produced in the 295/80R22.5 size.
The tread pattern of the novelty features five longitudinal ribs, separated by wide drainage grooves. All longitudinal ribs, including those located in the shoulder areas of the tread, are separate rows of blocks, spaced at a minimum distance from each other. This tread structure allows the Aeolus ASR69 tire to have excellent directional stability. The presence of a large number of blocks indicates that the contact patch has a multitude of sharp traction edges formed by these tread elements at any given time. As a result, the tire demonstrates high braking efficiency on any type of road surface.
Since the tire is cargo and designed for installation on steering axles, the design of the shoulder areas has undergone significant changes compared to its predecessor. The shoulder areas have become wider, which has significantly reduced the likelihood of skidding of the steering axle when making sharp maneuvers.
No less important for a tire installed on the steering axle are the resistance to aquaplaning. To combat this hazardous phenomenon, this model is equipped with four longitudinal grooves capable of holding a significant amount of water, the excess of which is discharged outward through the shoulder areas.

- The possibility of restoring and re-grooving the tread pattern, thanks to the wide carcass, which allows the service life of the tire to be extended several times.
