For several decades, the company successfully produced sports cars, some models of which won prizes not only in local races but also in major sports competitions. This further fueled the public's interest in original cars with unique technical characteristics. But the crisis situations of the 80-90s led to several changes of owners, which did not have the best effect on the company's overall condition.

Present day

A powerful impetus for development in the present time was the acquisition of the manufacturer by the Chinese company Nanjing Automobile Group. Having invested significant amounts, the new owner stimulated MG. As a result, new models began to appear, featuring modern "filling". At the same time, their sales market expanded significantly, affecting not only Europe but also South America and Australia.

At the moment, the company's production facilities are concentrated in 4 plants, two of which are located in China, one in Thailand, and one in the UK.
