Dodge Avenger – a charismatic model from the American manufacturer, which was first introduced in 1994, and its full-scale production began in 1995. The car stood out for its non-trivial design, which fully reflected the "American" style.

The beginning of history

The basis of the model was the GS platform from Mitsubishi, as well as several engines from this manufacturer. In the basic configuration, the "Avenger" was equipped with a 2.4-liter engine with 4 cylinders, the power of which was 173 horsepower. In a more advanced version, a V6 engine with 235 horsepower and a volume of 3.5 liters was installed. Both engines worked in pair with a 4-speed automatic transmission. The maximum speed was 210 km/h.

In 2011, a restyling was carried out, which "refreshed" the appearance of the vehicle. LED optics appeared, bumpers changed. The salon was equipped with new seats with a more ergonomic shape, a touch-sensitive multimedia screen was installed. In terms of technology, the suspension settings were changed, and the car began to be equipped with two new engines. More economical on 2 liters and more powerful on 3.6 liters. All this slightly "warmed up" interest in the model, but could not consolidate its position in the global market.
