This is only the second set of OE tires, so I'll try to describe my feelings compared to the Goodyear Eagle LS 2 225/55 R18 97H that came on my 2008 Mitsubishi Outlander XL. The Geolandar G055 is softer than the first, and at 2.1 bar, they handle the speed bumps and uneven roads quite well, but don't expect the comfort of a luxury tire, especially with the Outlander XL's suspension.

I bought 225/65R17 instead of the standard 225/60. It fitted perfectly, plus the speedometer readings are now matching the GPS. I took the tires on a trip from Yamalo-Nenets to Krasnodar, installed and run-in at 12000 km noted the following advantages:

Excellent city tire. I've been running it year-round on my 4WD two-axle off-roader. It handles great on the highway. Noise-free and fuel-efficient (no added drag). Doesn't cup (vehicle is sensitive to tire due to axle geometry). Mileage: 35,000. Still has a couple of thousand miles left without any issues.
