Tyre reviews Toyo Proxes T1R. Page 5 3480

For a light vehicle they don't work, the rubber compound is too complex and never gets sticky enough. They look like they're going to grip for life and when used in anger they become slippery like smoke instead of gripping. Good for a splash of water though, but as a sports tire on a light vehicle it doesn't work.

Very good in tires. My previous tires were Bridgestones RE 40 and understeered quite a bit, especially on wet roads. This was due to the tires and suspension overall fault. After straightening and changing tires to T1R this was a completely different car!

Very pleased with these tires. Can't comment too much on wear at this stage, but seem to be doing well for spirited driving. Brilliant grip around corners now and can do silly speeds without losing traction. Even at really silly speeds, slide is very predictable and easy to control. Recommended.

Heard many good things, so bought a set and don't agree with the glowing reviews - the best thing they have going for them is they wear well and look good, but for the price I expected better. Dry traction is nothing to write home about and in wet weather it's poor (better when it's really wet) - since bought the HUMO KU31 and must say it's a lot better, rounder with less noise, better feel/grip and costs half the price

Good tires, lots of power in dry or rain. Fronts can get overloaded in my car, but then most tires do if you put your foot down! Wear is not excessive, especially considering the market for the tire. Nevertheless, after 12,000 km the difference between front and rear starts to show - a bit too early considering my driving style. I would recommend this tire to everyone, as it is affordable compared to other brands' offerings. Moreover, it is available in various sizes -

I installed these tires after reading their excellent reviews. I honestly didn't find them fantastic, but I'll give them a 75% rating. The vehicle came from the factory with B'stone Potenza 040s. They were very good to go karty with a grippy feeling in dry weather, but significantly understeered in wet conditions, which made me switch to T1-Rs, which are much better on wet roads. These tires certainly improve with mileage, which gives me more

Traction on dry roads is excellent. Traction on wet roads could be a bit better. Tire wear is fine, given that this is a performance tire. Tire noise is too high, in my opinion. The car handles very stably, even at high speeds (180kmh).

Very good tires for the money, handling is excellent in any conditions. Steering feel is also very good. Tires are slightly noisy, but not excessively. Not good in snow but not designed as winter tires. Wear appears to be good.

I'm very impressed with these tires for the money. Dry traction is excellent, as is traction on wet pavement. The only issues I have are that even with all the tread they have, they don't like water standing on the highway, for example, but that's common with many tires. They're also quite noisy on rough roads, but these tires rate first and second in tire comfort ratings. I can't comment too much on wear, but after 5,000 km the tread looks barely

Diamond in tires. Quite possibly one of the best tires around. Apparently these tires are getting a bad review in this area from one person representing multiple reviews but with different vehicles. He/She doesn't know what they're talking about. Buy, you won't be disappointed.
