Not bad tires, but Korea is of course better in terms of balancing, driving sensations, and appearance. But now there's no particular choice. I think the price is a bit high.

Good middle ground in terms of quietness, noise, good durability

I have them in size 255/55/19. For me, it's absolute discomfort. Firstly, at speeds above 50 km/h, there's a constant noise. Secondly, the car "bucks" on them - the handling is worse (i.e. ease of steering), it's too stiff when driving over even small bumps, i.e. with a sufficiently high profile of 55%, it feels like 45%. My impression is that it's rigid. Yes, it's currently +5°C outside. I wouldn't recommend them under any circumstances.

Bought tires this year. 35,000 miles have passed and they are all bald. Overall, the rubber is good, it handles the road well, average on water. Potholes are no problem, not a single puncture for the entire mileage, our roads are bad. The only thing I didn't like was the wear resistance - very little

The utter disappointment from this Chinese "premium" as the Maxxis brand positions itself. At least, specifically this model.

Background. I was faced with the question of choosing summer UHP tires, since the Michelin Latitude Sport 3 tires that were on my car had worn out directly to the limiter at the end of the third season. I decided to try, on the advice of many car enthusiasts, something from Chinese brands. I chose for a long time, read reviews, considered various options. And then I came across the Maxxis company's model, Victra Sport 5. Tires for China are quite expensive, but at the same time, they are 2-2.5 times cheaper than top brands. The manufacturer itself puts this model on all sorts of competitions, where it shows a level directly close to Michelin Pilot Sport 4 and Continental ContiSportContact 5/6. Reviews on Drive and Yandex Market were strictly positive, everyone praised this model. Moreover, not only the owners, whose driving style is calm, praised it, but also the owners of fast cars, who seem to be driving aggressively. My car has about 400 horsepower under the hood, driving style - fast. The choice was made, ordered tires in size 275/40 20th diameter.

Immediately after installation on the wheels, the first 500 km, the tires were super soft, I was pleasantly surprised. After Michelin LS3, I suddenly stopped feeling all sorts of road unevenness: seams, markings, manholes, small potholes, and so on. But what surprised me even more - I stopped feeling the rut. It's like some kind of miracle. Even when starting from a place with a boost, the tires did not jump and did not bend, as it was with Michelin. The only thing that bothered me was the feeling of lag when turning the wheel and periodic, rare, but still, stability warnings, which was not the case with Michelin, even on wet asphalt and at minus temperature. But I thought, it will wear off and will be better. After all, any new tires need to erase that primary layer that is impregnated with special oil by the manufacturer. Well, according to the classics, the first few hundred kilometers the tires are only running in, and only then do they show their full potential. But I had no reason to hope...

After the first 500 km, the tires became hard like Michelin, if not to say, even harder. The rut began to feel like on Michelin. At some point, I even decided to lower the pressure in the tires from 2.4 to 2.2. But what can I say, no magic happened, and the tires turned out to be no softer than Michelin, which is quite normal, so it should have been. But it gets worse. Periodically, I see the stability system turning on when pressing the pedal to the floor, although the asphalt is dry and the temperature outside is over 20 degrees Celsius. The stability system also turns on if, when accelerating, you drive onto a raised road marking. Then I noticed that when making a sharp turn, which I am used to entering at 70-80 km/h, I was suddenly carried away by half a meter along the outer radius, which surprised me, because it never happened with Michelin. But then I was generally shocked that when braking, if you press the pedal sharply to the floor, the tires start to squeal, grind, and burn, you can smell the burnt rubber in the cabin... And if you brake not sharply, but at 70% of the pedal's travel, you can hear how the ABS works. And that's just complete nonsense... With Michelin, when sharply pressing the pedal to the floor, you could barely feel the feedback from the pedal, i.e. the ABS almost didn't turn on.

Conclusion and my conclusions. This tire is not suitable for UHP tires at all, it is far from Michelin and similar ones. In my opinion, this is just a "tire" that can be put on a low-power car or in a car-sharing service, or in a taxi. Although there is still a question of how quickly it wears out... The marketing was very successful, many people bought this model. But I am tormented by the question of why people leave positive reviews? Maybe the majority of people who put it 5 stars just drive on it in a calm style, like home-work-dacha-store? But Windforce, RoadX, and Triangle cost significantly less than Maxxis... A set of these tires cost me 46 thousand, while the above-mentioned brands would have cost from 28 to 32 thousand. Here, on Mosavtoshina, the price for this model reached 60 thousand for a set... I decided that I will finish this season on Maxxis, and at the same time, I will check how much they lied about handling and braking in the rain. And in the next season, I decided to try Bridgestone Potenza Sport, a set can be found for 100 thousand in my size, but this is a honest UHP from the top, which in some tests overtakes Michelin Pilot Sport 4 and stands right next to the new Conti.

I finally listened to what people say about Chinese tires being good. BRAVO! China is China! I read reviews, watched reviews... who is praising this rubber? It's as quiet as an airplane! My winter tire is quieter! I've never met such a thing!
